Heh, you'll have better chance buying a car for $2000 that can take you across NZ.

You can get this 2008 bike that would do the job for sure, may not be the most comfortable:

Must admit I'm surprised myself at some of the asking prices. Its summer, people decide to get a new bike but have exaggerated ideas of what their old one is worth. I see there are a few GN 250s out there. Small, boring, but well-regarded.

I'd pick the BMW but it hasn't been used for a while. Like mine. Hopefully someone here can help.

if you want to have a really good look around the country,
maybe get something that you will be comfortable riding on shingle roads.
    have a great time
    forsale A100,awesome power.
near ready for bucket raceing,or just a padock, beach hack.
    gotta be a good deal,surely
