Why do we all hate each other?

I haven't been around here long but....

I've been sifting through some threads here and I have found that every one commenting has a common interest.

That is they just want to run everyone else here down.

You all know this, but here are some examples.

Harley owners hate jap owners.

Jap owners hate Harleys.

Sports bike owners dislike cruiser owners.

Everyone except Honda owners think Honda owners are homosexual.

The dual sport and MX guys(girls) reckon road riders are the scum of the earth.

Everyone thinks they are better than the next person for one reason (bike) or another.

My questions to you are these......

Are we all motorcyclists who at the end of the day share a common interest?

or

Are we just a factional bunch of arseholes that care for little more than ourselves and fellows in our own little cliques?

Aren't we all motorcyclists?

After being PM'd it appears I don't yet understand the dynamics of such a complicated site such as this.

It's not true, I mean I know some Honda riders that aren't homosexual. Their boyfriends might be though. And cruisers? Don't get me started on them cunts, it got so bad down here in Christchurch we had to introduce an anti-cruiser bylaw. I'm not so much of a Harley hater however, I understand that the repairs industry supporting the brand is one of our largest employers in New Zealand. And as far as offroad and dualsport riders thinking we're scum of the earth, it's just envy. How many road racers turn their hand to 'dirt-tracking'? Not many, if any. But many dirt racers see the light and come back to the fold that is the chosen one, the holy grail of motorcycling, sportsbikes. I know this, because I'm better than you all.

Not like a Honda owner.

But to answer your question in all seriousness, no I don't. I don't discriminate by what you ride, or why you ride, nor what pace you ride at. But just because you ride a bike doesn't make me your 'brother'. I bet some kid fiddlers ride bikes. Does that mean I would want to stand shoulder to shoulder with them?

A very good point, and taken on board. Truth be known there is a biker or two that I know that I don't think deserve the respect that I am talking about here.

I am still talking about the majority though, and should any animosity be based around what we ride?
