I'm afraid this is another 'known to the Police' job.
frankly this makes me very angry. So un necessary and a decent useful member of society taken out by an unrepentant moron...
Such a tragedy for the rider. I feel sadness and anger in equal measure. May his good attitude see him through to as full a recovery as possible.
And may the driver's attitude pay her back in full...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
For a moment imagine her horror, when 100 or more BIKES/BIKERS ride slowly past where she and her family live.Nothing more, just a real slow trundle past there.Once a week for a few months.Reckon she'd go insane, actually I hope she would.
Course it'd be too good to be true if some of her scumbag(known to police) rellies tried to stop the riders.
It can be done.
R U up for it down there???
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Nice fantasy and I'm sure one born out of fustration rather than dark desire but it will fold like a wet sack so how about doing something positive?
Does anyone know the victim well? (I believe one poster does) So in that case is there anything the family needs please? Even if its just a visit in hospital? Are there kids? Can I take them out fishing or something to give mum a break? Are they OK for cash?
The reality is Paul that shit things sometimes happen to people who don't deserve it.
And sometimes the perpetrators of those shit things deserve further admonition than the courts provide.
If someone feels strongly enough that this here is such a case than you won't see me shedding any tears if they decide to follow up on it.
Just don't use Motorcycling as a platform for thuggery.
here in KB land I am me, my signature carries the MAG-NZ logo, it could also carry the BRONZ logo.
I never mentioned anything about being a gang, but now that it's been mentioned.
From years of experience I can tell you that what the low lifes of our society definitely do understand is, a bigger stronger enemy then they are.
In my defence ( not that I think I need too, stop it Katman! I did say "imagine "
Nothing else has worked and apart from the obvious for us out here as Paul in NZ has said we can concentrate on the positive and doing something actual and meaningful for the motorcyclist who has been injured here.
So slander away you guys, seems we've got a full house going here, it was a suggestion as to how to deal with one particular person who it seems has done a severe injustice to one of our own.
Be squeamish if you like even put your tongue in your cheek and poke the borax, but believe this, if it was up to me, after the "facts' had been established and as usual the wet bus ticket had been appllied and we'd done our bit for our fellow biker. I'd get the slow rides going for someone who shows no remorse and hides behind their family and "their" connections.
These are my own personal thoughts on this matter and my association with any organisation is simply a matter of coincidence.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
I won't quote caseye in full but he clearly states my position, this is a personal opinion not an organisational one.
It is a measure of the frustration with effective sanctions from the system that leads to a desire for some affirmative action to name and shame.
