    Why did you say that?
If it was you or your brother or father or mate or wife etc that this happened to, I bet you would have a slightly different attitude.

    Getting a bit carried away

    Hi Guys
I beleive some people maybe getting a bit carried away with feelings and emotions.
Blair is a very forgiving person, though maybe not so much in this case. He has spoken to the girls step father (apparent ex gang member), who is appalled at the actions of his step daughter. Drive bys would not acheive a great deal, but make bike riders look bad. If people are interested in helping, I will be organising a fundraiser to assist his better half being off work to assist Blair when he comes home from hospital. Details will follow. He is still in good spirits, will keep posted.

Best Wishes to Blair, his family and friends....truly hope hes ok, physically & mentally...not the way to spend xmas

As for the "driveby" idea....I personally think its a GREAT idea....just the wrong location!
....imagine how happy it would make blair....to hear dozens...no HUNDREDS!! of fellow bikers respectfully cruse past his side of the hospital to show how much we care & are thinking of him and his family at this difficult time.

(-But even this idea has its draw backs....hospitals are for recovery!....not hangin out a window waving furiously at fellow bikers....and the noise lol)

...My familys thoughts and best wishes to Blair

Great picture and article on Blair and this accident in the Dec22nd Kapiti News

Hes a lot more charitable (and tougher) than I would be I suspect... He has my respect and seems like a very good man.

Please make sure you let Vicki and I know if we can do anything to help!

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

    Kapiti news article and update

    Hi All

Here is the link for the Kapiti news

    http://issuu.com/the.star/docs/21035...&logoOffsetY=0

Correction, not a link, just highlight, copy to address bar, hit enter.

Blair had surgery today to take bone from the hip and put it into his wrist to give them something to attach the plate and screws to. Will visit tomorrow and give update.

*Paul, thanks for the message, But system would not let me reply to you as I have not used this forum enough yet. Both Blair and his better half have no children or immediate family in Wellington so she spends all free time at the hospital. Christmas day will be likewise. I have passed onto blair everyones support from this forum and he is amazed with the generosity of strangers ( although bike riders seem to end up one big family). Many thanks to all
