    Thumbs up

I do it all the time, but ages ago was pulled up by a bike cop heading south on the motorway just before the motorway tunnel in wellington. The cop was really good about it, he said when he was a young'un doing the same thing a copper pulled him over and gave him a warning. He did the same to me

    Nah - it's plitting lanes....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Always do it and never been ticketed. Mind you lane splitting is no big deal in Rotovegas. Maybe a line of 10 cars at most

ah! Lane splitting. Remember it well. Normally do it every day on the commute to Welly.
Since the week before xmas the lack of cages on the road meant I had no need to.
Been on 2 weeks hol since the 10th, with a trip up norf and doing the Coro Loop, East coast etc. No need to split there. Not looking forward to getting back into the commute next week. Probably have to take it easy until the head get's back into the right space for lanesplitting.

Have split passed cops on a regular basis and never had a problem. Just take my time and crawl past them. Once I get far enough ahead and their view is blocked, back to the normal 15k-20k difference.

Classic Hawkeye.. Believe me if I keep up the 2 x bowls of wedges every Wednesday at the Royal I really will be too wide to lanesplit :P - Feel free to help me eat them.

Ahh.... an introduction huh? Oh yes, she (Greasegirl) is an absolute hottie. Plenty of folk who would like to meet her. Maybe in due time she will come out to play at the duckpond (come on Alana.... you know you want to).

And as for lane splitting, been doing it alot more recently with the lighter flows of traffic and getting a little better at it. One of those things thats take a bit of practise for me, thats for sure.

So lanesplitting is kind of illegal

And filtering stationary traffic is not?

Traffic is still light. Ponker in an MPV who decided to slow 80km in the right lane before the top of the gorge induced a minor split this morning. Being able to see all that lovely empty lane ahead of the MPV was just too much
