Honda sport quads

Looking for a new sport/race quad, ideally after a yfz but also considering a TRX450R, I have heard nothing but good things about the yamahas but a whole lot of mixed bag reviews of the hondas (eg, they stretch valves, fuck heads every 50 hours etc)
I love honda bikes, currently have 3 cbr600s and beat the shit out of them daily and they never miss a beat, so my question is are the dirtbikes a different story?
Im familiar with rebuild requirements/piston etc etc just worried about the top end shitting itself

The Honda 450 race quads havent changed much for a while they are still high and narrow, why don't you try an ltr450 2008 or higher model. I run all Yamaha race Quads they are very good especially the Raptor 700R.

I have a raptor 660 model down from the 700
great guad had never let me down

and the 660cc gives it more torque and makes it easer to ride
