Like LBD has pointed out..... Monster's can corner and are very light, mine weights in now at 151kg's with full tank. Have riden the Speed triple and is on par with the monsters, it all comes down to taste and "fit" on the bike, thats it and the end of the day... you can debate all the pro's and con's for years, but it's what bike suits you and gives you the feeling of control and feedback you want from a bike. Try them all, it's you who will be riding it

600km in a day Pfffft....The S4Rs was great on the 10 day 10 000km super tour. and the GC.....not to mention the TT2000....Pm me if you are going to Chch...

Fooook off...look at what this old fella rides and as for v2 gutlessness...This old amature on the 998cc monster pisses all over an XJR1300 ridden by an experienced racer in a straight line.

Thanks for all your input. Went for a ride on a mates Shiver and then on a Street Triple and have decided on the Striple just fits me better. So...... I'm on the hunt, my budget doesn't stretch to brand new so if anybody knows of a good S/H one at a reasonable price let me know. Cheers
