great day out...... we went beach riding, started at the ferry pub, up the beach track... then around the ngawi and passed the light house to the locked gate at white rock, a return trip saw us stop at the DOC station to find the gates locked to the southerlands track... after a bit of thinking and little walk in the trees, we found a way in bypassing the locked gates,,,,.

up the southerlands track to the look out,you could see for miles and miles, fantastic clear day view was stunning, carried along the track and carefully down Cnut hill.,, ITS JUST AS NASTY COMING DOWN... to the hutt and back out, stoped up at toppys for well earned cupper...

Thanks for the excellent ride yesterday Joe.
Good to ride with another KBer who sees locked gates more as a challenge and not a barrier.

Now i have seen CNUT hill i will be back to have a go at going up , with some off road gearing and a full Knobbly tyre though.

I would have to rate that wee tour you took me on one of the best days riding in my short riding career.

up we lucky i got the key that day,,, i tried to get it for mxnut but no luck,,,

i think i made it up to him buy out little detour through the trees...we even had tools to take the gate apart............ but the buggers had welded the hinge to the gate..... didnt stop us...
