    G'day Matt,
    Still trying to "swing it" at work but looks like I may have to work that day so won't be leaving till after 2pm (love that glide time) - have a great trip down, don't make Kenny fall off too much and see you in Fairlie for a quiet one or two

    That's a bummer Crim as it is a nice ride thru the gorge and yes I'll try and look after Kenny, at least he keeps us entertained!

    Hey can anyone put up a google map 0f the route? please? Also how many ks approx & how long doyathink it'll take?

    Sorry Padmei, I don't do the GPS thing.
    We will stop for Subway and fuel if necessary at Ashburton then head to the shingle at Orari Bridge, from there it's no more than 60km's of gravel and farm tracks coming out near Lake Opuha near Fairlie, total distance Ashburton to Fairlie would be around 100km's
