    Dont do it!!

Next you'll have to stay at home looking after grubs when she goes riding. Or she'll get allnaffy when you go riding and she can't...

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

I got put off open face helmets

years ago I was riding reasonably hard round a corner when a big insect of some form hit me in the eye. Instinctively I closed both eyes which makes cornering really interesting. Then about 3 months later a mate was in traffic doing less than 50k on his Bonnie when a cage clipped him and sent him down the road - face first. He spent months having reconstruction surgery on his chin. Made him even uglier and on account of me being ugly enough i figured that I'd preserve my looks and bought a full face and been wearing them ever since.

When I was in the Air Force one of my mates rode his XS650 about 100 yards down the road to the bike shed after cleaning it in jandals and shorts. For some reason he put his foot down while still moving and the thong ripped up the centre of his foot and he then dropped his bike losing vast amounts of skin. He was a fucking mess and was off work for months despite not having exceeded 30 kmh.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

LOL. I'll make sure not to repeat that when she's around or my bike may just get pushed over. On the bright side, she can cook, not so good with a vacuum, but does do the washing!

I don't know how Australians deal with it - insurance wise, but I saw a fair few over there on the Motorways, in shorts, jandals and T-shirts.

But (according to the news report......) this young kiwi guy must've forgot his helmet and his jeans..
