I only have a 225 single banger and I still notice the extra cost!!! the wifes car is costing a fortune to fill now as well. Petrol companies are on for another record year for profits.

I filled up for $29 after 270km on my way home the other day and still hadn't hit reserve. At 5.5L/100km I doubt I'll give a tympani phuck.

I'm down to my last $5 so I don't think I'll be riding until I start hustling.

Around September/October, I racked up a few km, and over two months used almost a grand in gas.

Oh well, pay and move on. Tis my only vice see?

    If it was $5 a litre, i still wouldn't give a puk.

In order to support my lust for riding i'd just cut out the insignificant stuff, like..... showers, toilet paper, sex & food. (not necessarily in that order)

The price of fuel is just far too high and also unjustified.

Not a major issue for bike riders, but a huge problem when filling two cars.

Certainly won't affect me. I've just replaced my air filter and I'm now getting an extra 60km out of a tank. Spending less now on petrol than before the latest round of hikes.

Better sign up to Kiwi WALKER then.

Mind you, I suspect you're halfway to becoming an alterative fuel looney anyhoo
