I don't pay rego on car and bike and am finding it ok if I take the bike as much as possible. With a ZX6R @ 4.4L/100km it's pretty cheap if you drive carefully and carry speed around corners employing general basic hypermiling technique.

No doubt should you crash either of these vehicles you are prepared to fully fund the cost of any treatment you require?

Naturally you are more than happy with the condition of NZ's roads and see no reason to contribute to roading projects?

I reckon there will be a shitload of bikes on the road soon with this exponential rapid increase of petrol prices.

With supersport bikes getting the same mileage as hybrid cars at a fraction of the purchase cost, I think many people will stumble across this world of enjoyment we here already take pleasure in. A positive consequence for all of us.

That may just drive the prices up of 600cc bikes. If there is a higher demand people will try and capitalise on the situation.
