And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Oh, my bad. I can't keep up with all the Ninjas and GSXrRRrRRrRrs these days! At any rate, that's what I think it is!

Missed the not shaft driven bit.. I'm out, been far too much thinking going on in my head anyway.
Candy Indy Blue it is. 19 litres fuel capacity and 1255cc of motive power.
It is a Suzuki GSX1250FA ST, sometimes known in some markets as a GSX1250SA.
It is not a Bandit. As well as the faired front end, the instrumentation, front suspension and radiator (size & number of fans) are all different to its more famous brother.
It is/was New Plymouth Motorcycles' demonstrator with about 1,000km on its clock.
I am greatly looking forward to meeting it personally and riding it.

Cool, best ride it back through Forgotten World Hi-way.

Very nice. (And not a bad price compared to some of the other stuff around.... such as many mentioned in this "take a guess" thread.)
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.
257kg's,and only spring preload adjustable front'n rear.
Calling Dr Bob, Dr Bob to the flashy Bandit..........
