Come on, stand up. Don't be shy.
Learner rider, no license, no WOF, no Reg. Doing 80-100 while lane-splitting. A car moved, he braked and tucked the front and he went down. Bike hits the car.

Car wasn't damaged. Driver was cool about all. 'Bent the truth' to the Cop who turned up to help cover the rider too!

Hope the guy learnt a lesson.

Wasn't Hutt Rd - happened on motorway just where south bound Newlands and Hutt Traffic merge

All I can say is expect a visit from the police as apparently 6-7 people *555'ed him for lane splitting like a cock! Cops arrived coz I dialed it in - happened in front of me. Woman on the dispatch was mildly amused and asked if it was the same person who had earlier been lane splitting - and I couldn't lie.

I must say, he rocketed past me and I commented to my partner that he would have an accident - near laughed my head off when I saw it had happened 700m up the road.

PS - he wasn't as high as a kite - he was swearing his head off on the side of the road.

The cop didn't take any details at the scene... He may be home free - don't know. Just hope he learnt the right lesson.

Wasn't just how he was riding - but more where and when he was choosing to do it. Rush hour traffic in merging lanes - farken Idiot - deserved to kill himself.
