i hit my arm and hand quite hard on the makiro track on a fallen tree. so was quite happy to wait with bill to be picked up..

You do realise I have an unfair advantage on those roads though....I started riding them as a 10 year old on a shitty old farm bike. I remember regularly riding to, and racing through, the Makairo with my older brothers. The good old days....gumboots, shorts, teeshirt, no helmet.

We started the day with a run through the Makairo track, once Mark finally arrived.

Played in the gravel at the north end of the track, then down Towai Road to my olds farm. We tore up a few paddocks.

1. Joe, on the 'Little Manuhara'. Awesome, fast little track.
2. Yafeetup had a little hishap with a wheel bearing, which cut his day short.
3. Mark and I continued on and did a loop around Spur Road.
