When I was young I got invited to religious things by lots of such well meaning people.
Baptists, Peculiar Brethren (Particular ? Can' remember), Jehovahs Witnesses Mormons, Hare Krishnas, Seventh day Adventists, christedelphians, they all had a shot at me.
The Hare Krishnas had the best food. Except for one special drink they did, was supposed to be a great honour to be offered. Foulest thing I've ever tried to drink. Didn't know what to do, not drink it and cause offence, or try to and almost certainly spew, which was probably some sort of sacrilege.
Never got to shag any of their women though. Some buggers have all the luck
