Posts 28 and 29 pretty much sum it up for me. If the car was doing 95 then it's hardly "dawdling" despite a rider (or another driver) wishing they'd go that extra 5kph faster (big frickety deal). If you saw the cop up ahead and knew you were going to have to put on a burst to get past the car in front why didn't you simply wait until the police vehicle had sailed past into the wild blue yonder away from you before doing it? Surely it wouldn't have added that much more time to your travel?

While I can certainly understand it being annoying being "held up" behind a driver who is sitting just under the legal speed limit whatever happened to patience? Especially at this time of year when all sorts of numpties, idiots and putterers are out on the road and the police are being extra vigilant!

Fuck off you deserved a ticket for letting a Mini pass you regardless of how he was doing it

I spotted the radar and had peeled back a tad. Besides, nawt wrong wiv minis, the last one I had would thrash a 2L Siera up to 120k.

Always fancied doing one of these, but I never managed it.

I used to allow (from various rudimentary 1000 and 1.....1000 and 2 type timing).....GSXR1000 top gear passing sitting around 90-95 with touring packs , one car - approx 2-2.5 secs and approx 130-135kph pull in speed, 2 cars, approx 3.5 secs and approx 160 - 165kph pull in speed.
    I think you're done!
