    1954 Projection - Accurate really

    If I put the PS2 steering wheel out on top of the G4 and turn the TV on....

    Fortran, easy to use... teletype interface

    Really? i got it email from a geek - was the refuting credible?
    I noted it because what first struck me as the ridiculous things - the steering wheel and the TV are almost exactly where i have them.

    i did wonder about 'fortran' in 1954, but, there you go.

    The first Fortran commercial compiler was released in 1957. But it had been around in labs for some years before that so mention in a 1954 prediction is not totally implausible.

    And yes, it was (and is) easy to use. So too is Cobol (one of the best computer languages ever)

    I suspect that the "hoax" may relate to the year. 2004 seems bien trouve.
