Keep an eye on torpedo7, from time to time they have some really crazy prices. I got a pair of tech 7's from them for $399 about 2 months ago, couldnt beleive it.

Most of their stocked sizes are outside the average (as with these boots), but occasionally they have stuff that fits me. Got A-Star pants and shirt for under $100 off them.
One of my local bike shops is very good at offering discounts though, they usually easily match/beat Torpedo's prices, it's easy to forget that you can negotiate on gear as well as bikes.
