    Speak fluent English, Afrikaans and Zulu. Learnt (and lost) a bit of the German language in school.

    I speak fluent british.. None of this international muck.

    Also, tend to learn languages when I need them and forget them after. The old intensive Berlitz course is really good for that (not sure if NZ has that technology yet).

    French, German, Russian and Hebrew are all languages i've had to learn over the years and I can quite happily say, forgotten.

    I have a slight problem with hebrew because my english accent stops me pronouncing some of the sounds. Also Arabic is a problem too. Havnt mastered the art of spitting on my foot for some syllables.

    French - fluent (lived there for 3 years)
    Swedish - can drink beer and vodka (lived there for 2 years)
    German - understand but cannot not speak (never been there)

    Also I thought that you only apitalise the word english or germen and such if you were talking about the people not the languages?

    My girlfriend speaks seven different languages fluently, I only speak two fluently. Enrichment of ones live is fullfilling.
