    "They" are, you aren't.

I need my licence for my job, for another year or so anyway, so understand why any employer would need to know.

Also, I too have some experience as a medic in the NZDF and have former hoahoia in the Patriots MC, although I haven't joined that. Yet.

Good to know. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must away to speed.

I agree. It appals me how many of our biker brothers and sisters are happy to travel at warp factor 9.5, do runners from the police and do what even I as a biker consider dangerous acts on the road. Being a regular on the Rumitakas I see idiotic acts done almost every ride ad have even seen comments on here about it being funny when people fall off trying to play the heros.

Remember kids, murder, or in this case speeding is a crime, unless it was done by a policeman...

I am going to be terribly blunt here.....You are an Effing Dick who give most of us sensible riders a bad name....

There is a reason an area is a 50kph zone...to keep the townsfolk safe from idiots

You have not only endangerd yourself but innocent folks as well...How would you feel if you wiped out a young kid? You are a knob, enough said

Save your speeding for the track or some back road

Fess up and take the time...I hope you lose your licence for 6 months at least!

    Amen. Harsh but honest
You sound like somebody the Bergs would be happy to ride with. It's often hard to find like minded bikers who are not just out to go fast and race on the road.

Exactly. Why is it ok for a bike to do it, but woe betide if it had been a 18 y.o. in his WRX? Given the debate going over in RnR around pursuits I'm amazed that there are people supporting running. Then again, this is k.b.... (or those who have encouraged setting up a chase are piss-taking).

All around, in excess of 100 in a 50 kph zone? think about worst case scenarios and what your actions could lead to. Do you really want to live with that or don't you care, all for the sake of saving a few piddly minutes?

    Fukwit

Doing that sort of speed in a 50kmh is fukn stupid. Ergo he who does this and want to whinge his way out of it in front of the Court is probably stupid. I spend time and money to do track time, but I dont want you there, who knows what you will deem OK on a track?

Memories. I wuz an RNZN Apprentice RF in 1982 when I got caught doing warp factor 7 down the south motorway on an RD350LC. I only got caught when I slowed down. I hadn't even realized I was being chased!! The Popo was in one of those old Mitsi Sigmas, the one before the sleek body shape. It was a naturally aspirated 2 litre, light green in colour.

I got my just desserts from the beak at court (totally guilty), but then the Navy had a go at me too !! I ended up on the carpet in front of the XO on Canterbury F421.

    Oh for the old days.

Post Yes it is a defence

    http://www.fastandsafe.co.nz/Pages/M...ce18Feb05.shtm

Recent decisions show the courts are backing motorists such as Fiddler, waiving fines for those who challenge police unable to provide evidence of speeding.

Christchurch man Bryan McHerron took the matter to court in September last year after police were unable to produce radar evidence at the scene of his ticket.

An officer allegedly clocked McHerron travelling 121kmh in a passing lane near Amberley, but lost the radar record seconds after the incident and was unable to show McHerron any evidence as he wrote out the ticket.

McHerron went to court, admitting he was probably travelling at more than 100kmh, but denied it was 121kmh.

The Rangiora District Court ruled in McHerron's favour, with two Justices of the Peace saying: "This issue for us is whether there has been a burden of proof beyond reasonable doubt regarding the excessive speed ... to cast light or doubt on the actual speed under consideration and in the interests of justice we think it is not unreasonable for the driver to see the actual locked-in radar speed.

"In this instance it was not available and does create an element of doubt to the actual speed for the defendant."

The decision was based on a similar High Court ruling in 1996 when a motorcyclist on the West Coast successfully defended an alleged radar reading of 126kmh after the officer could not produce evidence of the speed quoted on the ticket.

I've had to deal with retarded fucks like you a lot who missed out on but no doubt deserved some good lower mess deck justice.

I have real reasons to be pissed at him speeding at that rediculous speed through those areas, i've never dobbed a soul in in my life, the people i'd speak to would give him shit and make sure he sorts his shit out, nothing more, so before you start personally attacking me, think about why my reaction was what it is.
