    Thank you Mr Yamaha 660

ZXRider convinced me to dust Scoot off and come for a road ride - my last experience on the street was shit due to a wanker in a Corolla with anger management issues so I wasn't all that keen to stray far from the comparitive safety of Hampton Downs. But Lance is convincing, and so we went for a ride out to Puhoi, and a couple of laps of Woodcocks.

Long story short, we would normally have some useful stuff with us, tire warmers, fuel, food, and most importantly tools - but given the race trailer was 100km away; fixing the small mechanical issue my rear set had was looking problematic.

But, the Biker God smiled, and a nice bloke on a Yamaha bouncy castle 660 offroad bike (complete with GPS and mini bar) pootled past and stopped, offering his tools for our use. 2 minutes of wrenching, and 20 minutes of good conversation later, Scoot was 100% again, and looking forward to her next track outing.

Mr Yamaha is a KiwiBiker, which proves to me that there are some good people on this site.

    Cheers mate.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
