any information on this crossing please photos of it, any dramas been had here while crossing..
would it be safe to cross alone..on a big bike..

Cary and I failed to get across in the middle of summer when we were there. She was running fast then. Nice ride in to find out though and if you have to turn around and come back then it's a nice ride out.

yup i know where it is i want to know what the crossing is like. if its difficult or not.

when you thinking of crossing JMJ - sure there would be one or three here in ChCh that would be there "just in case" if you wanted some company - above link gives all the info but you'd need to check flow just before you left (can raise pretty quick with rain in them thar hills)

last time down palidin and i where turned away by farmers as they said river would be to high...it was pissing down that day..we didnt even get on the less valley road to it.

but no one would see it if it went all wrong..... guess that be ok id get away with it..

stunning looking road ,main river crossing looks ok entry exit not has steep as i thought.

Was freezing. Everywhere we went it seemed as though it was raining. The locals were saying you should have been here last week it was 30 degrees and not a cloud in the sky!
