    New Metzeler Z6 tyre?

Has anyone bought a set of the new Z6 tyres I have heard that they are different from the ones in 2010 . I currently have 2010 models on and am about to buy a new set and heard that they are different. Any comments

    Thumbs up

    Hi
I have used the Z6 tyres for about four years. I changed to Z6 Interact tyres and find them very good for heavy touring with better corner grip and last about 3000km longer.
I was getting around 11000km on the Z6 and around 14000km on the Z6 Interact with better cornering and wear.
Ride it until the wheels fall off...

I have done 3K on Z6 roadtec interacts and I have had massive understeering so far.

I have increased the psi per tyre a fraction and the tyres do feel better but will have to reserve my final judgement.

hope not, I fitted the 2010 Z6's and couldn't be happier with them. Plenty of grip and they claim to have a decent tread life.

Are you guys actually answering his question?

It does'nt sound like you are talking about a 2011 design.....

They're OK. Awesome grip in the wet with fantastic feedback - for the first 4000 kms I found I can ride damn near as fast as in the dry, but only got 7000ks out of the rear tyre and and I was kind of expecting more.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

I put Z6 on my Bandit last year and what adifference they made from the Dunlops that were on the bike from new - I fully expect to get at least 12k from them - much of that is two-up touring
