So your justification for stripping a personal freedom is some one in a million occurence? The only person I know who has trashed a lambo was driving it at the time... what about you?

Except that everywhere that has it has horribly jacked pricing.

I'd best be checking out this other lot.
I had a look at this a while ago Mstrs. There were a lot of catches (at least in my case). I was only insured overnight if my bike was stored in a locked garage (and at the time I was away from home on my bike about 4 or 5 days a fortnight, so that ruled it out for me). There was no track over option. Some other restrictions as well I can no longer remember.

It's the old adage - you get what you pay for.

You some up your attitude to other road users nicely don't you. It's all about you. I really hope things go well for you, because I feel for the other person who will have their life disrupted if you have an accident and right their vehicle off.

Perhaps your praying may help. Don't know.

Why don't you search this site? It has come up many times before. A lot of insurance companies do not want to provide third party motorcycle insurance, so they make it more expensive than full cover. But I'm guessing you've never even asked the question.
And I mention it, because some people go for the third party option not realising than can get a cheaper deal with more cover by going to full.

Eh? Your profile says you're in Auckland... is that not the case?

Merc/Porsche/Lambo drivers have nothing to fear in any case, they'll probably be lease vehicles and nicely insured.

Bullshit, if it was all about me I wouldn't even bother with 3rd party.

There seems to be conflicting info here: which was it, a good insurance company or State - it can't be both!

I don't suppose you know if a day at California Superbike School counts as a track day?

Lets put it a different way. It basically only covered use on public roads.

For insurance companies who cover track days....it is classed as a track day though more as a training day so you should get a reduced excess.

For myself with Star I have a $2k excess for track days and $1k excess for Honda Ride Days or California Superbike School.

The ONLY reason you call state insurance, is to tell them that they are a pack of fucking ripoff cunts!!!

    Kiwibike all the way!

Cheers mate. I think I'm with Star thru Kiwibike so hopefully that's the case. I'll give em a call when I sign up for CSS later on. I guess I could have just called Kiwibike rather than asked here

    Thumbs up

Ring Swann Insurance, they will provide cover for track days, with notification(no extra cost for this, as long as they're notified before the day). They paid out promptly and these days their policies also cover gear up to $3000 for the rider AND pillion.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

Get a personal loan from bank, lower rates and dont need vehicle insured as they dont care what you use the money for...
