Im looking for bike insurance too, so this thread has definately helped

I rang my insurance provider this morning (Tower) and just about had a heart attack ... $1100 excess (wtf??), $1081 per annum or $98 a month for full cover.

I shall be giving Kiwibike a call on Monday .... thanks

    Satan shudders & says....'Oh shit!....she's awake!!'

I have and in my particular case, nothing short of brilliant. I was in a position to help with the claim (repair parts/organise replacement options etc), which they gladly accepted. In return, they bent over backwards to sort the claim, accepted my advice and even waived my excess.

I just wish NAC covered riding gear at the time, cause the separate contents claim with AMI was a nightmare.

Thanks for the awesome advice, getting insurance with the 'household' names would've torn me a new one.
