North, South, East and West?

Over the past couple of years, I've done (on a bike and on public road) Cape Reinga, Bluff (Stirling Point) and East Cape - so I figured how about the most westerly point accessible by public road? but where is it ?

I think it would be Lake Hauroko in Southland - anyone with any other suggestions?

If it is, looking to do it in conjunction with Burt Munro trip this year - anyone interested?
