his old trainer Aldon Baker, is now RV trainer that could work in his favor.
Aldon Baker is a very good trainer, his riders have either won sx championships of got hurt since the RC days, BT was trained by him when he won the east coast lites title in 07, i think him being in RV's corner is a big help,

i think this will be an awesome series, it may end up better than 06 when Chad, Ricky and James ended up within 3 points of each other

Gotta say I agree with you there. James has another two gears left in the tank that he can pull out when things get hairy (i.e. a bad start or crash) but RV kinda looked like he was riding above his limit when trailing behind James (who at the time was riding extremely conservativley). He seems to be gelling with the bike now unlike last season's opening rounds and even more so he's hungry for the title.

Canard is the one i'm thinking will start to make moves this year.

It seems each week i'm just hangning out for the next round to be online. The Dodger stadium round should be good (pretty big venue).
