    Wink Looking for other naki riders to tag on the back of

    hi ppl,
    new to this road bike thing,
    keen to meetup with others for weekend rides
    day trips eq...

    Paul from action in town is on here and also a few others are "Pritch"" "Nadroj"
    and "Sensei". They are always out riding.
    Murray cook does wednesday night rides too . well he used too and pretty sure he still does.

    i been out once was ok. was much better than in a car because of buses and slow traffic can just pass them where the cars could not.

    going to give wonga a miss this weekend as there be shot loads of cars on that road,il head round mountain or go south insteed, any others heading south from naki?

    Well worded

    Nadroj always seems to know what rides are on. He attends rides from starting from Stratford as well as New Plymouth. You could do worse that PM him.

    Be carefull of Cooks Honda Tuesday rides(iirc)they head to Alton pub once a year,about 4 yrs ago I went on it,pretty friggin shit riding display by a few(mostly Stratford dudes)i.e passing with cattle trucks coming,etc.We were turning right from South Rd opposite Intermediate school and nearly got rear ended by a twit passing his mates,and didn't see me in middle of road,luckilly I saw him in mirrors and did a quick turn,into Victoria St,missing a car (well was close)but had I stayed for car would've been smacked from behind.

    Go and annoy Paul,he's a good bugger,we called in between xmas and new year and the bugger was away.

    And if a member of South Taranaki Club join their tourers group.

    Wink good ride

    went on first biggish ride.
    hawera/wangui/taumaranui/8 mile junk and back to hawera.

    realy injoyed it, 4 of us set off on sat ,had a few stops for coffy and food.
    shoulders were kill me along with a num ass! 550kms later

    i still havent got a white bait fritter there when on bike yet!
    we were heading up a few weeks ago, just past unawi my chain joiner clip snapped as i was passing cars,bit of duckin,divin and gliding and got into pit lane,(my folt)
    i didnt use a rivet clip! was gona get around to it!
    after trying to sort it,got miss to drive up in me ute and pic it/me up.
    removed chain gard cover and,yep u gessed it! friggin big hole in upper casing!
    motor spit,welded today and getting put back to gether at mo.
    learnt a leson about big chains the hard way!
