A place to practice wheelies (Auck)?

Anyone got any good places to learn wheelies in or near Auckland ?

I got my DRZ motard just for learning stunts, and Im looking for somewhere to practice. Preferably tarseal or concrete, like a carpark or similar.

I would like to keep it off the public roads so the police are cool with it (well as cool as they can be)

Any leads or tips are welcome

Very tricky. See... a road is any place to which the public have access whether as a right or not. That covers carparks. You can be done for reckless.

However, if you were to approach the business, gaining their written permission and ensuring a cordon is setup to prevent any vehicles straying into your area inadvertently, that would probably be sufficient to deter cops from harrassing you. Not to mention security guards.

There used to be some guys that practiced down at Bunnings in Manukau.

    Make sure you're never alone.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!
