When I worked at (then known as) Electricorp in Twizel I saw an incident report one day for some 'lost plant'. Someone had taken a socket set or some such home for the weekend and the guys dog had run away with a piece of it. The relevant part that made me laugh read:

Cause of loss?: Dog ran away with it and probably buried it
Action taken to recover plant?: Kicked dog

But before you get up in arms ... a while later the same guy kicked his dog again but must have been careless as he finished up breaking his own leg in the process. Having had my own lab-retriever run full tilt into my leg one day I can understand how it could happen.
