    Thumbs up

    I'm pretty keen for this...

I just have to wriggle out of a commitment I have made for that weekend.

I will check out the doc hut and confirm my attendance when I know I'm off the hook and have a bed sorted.

    cheers

    Still hope to be there.

We are now going to away for a long weekend the following weekend and I might have to do some work work ....

But still very interested, I have got lots of spiders webs to burn off the bike.

Sitting on the fence with this one still Phil. Keen as but not sure about job and money yet If I wasn't going to do all those tar-seal ks in the South Island I would have heaps of dough to go
Will make a decision nearer the date but if I go the pack horse service will be available for tents

just wondering where and what the ride involves..gravel roads up at Cape Colville...and anything else I should be warned about? Have just swapped the road bike for a real bike, but relatively new to this stuff so not keen on biting off more than I can chew (but I do chew fast )
It wasn't me, it was like that when I found it. Honest.

The Coro gravel is all easy, nothing to fear. this is more for the social ride with easy gravel and great views. (not saying the pace is slow tho )

As it's a basic route it will be ride your own pace and regroup at several places to count heads.
    Going away, busy?

If you filled up in Coromandel Nic, I am sure you will be fine, you can get over 250Km to reserve right? I am sure Andy can top you up if required, he is bringing in a tanker....(you bringing the 640A mate?)
Leave Rotorua with a full tank, then top up Thames and then top the top up Coro, just in case.....That's about what all do, sometimes miss out the Thames bit depending on tank volume...

Leanne and I are still keen on this ride, but have to sort a few things out first before committing.

If we do it we will take the "chicken route" and just head up the East Coast of the Coromandel and not the gravel over to the west coast and back.

But we will let you know if plenty of time Cary, imagine getting up there and running short of coke for Captain Morgan Rum!
