    Are you serious?
Boy have YOU been missing out.

Well if you want to mimic the route of the ride, it's not a confusing one.
Left at Kopu, right at Tapu (tapu-coroglen road), left at the end next to the pub, up the coast till you get to the 309 road (left turn) which takes you back across to the west coast again, then head for colville from there, upwards and onwards!

any one been through the motu lately

    JMJ
Haven't been through for a while but there were some hell thunderstorms over the weekend so expect some damage. Damage from the storms a few weeks back is also still apparent in places on the main roads around here so the Motu probably still has a few missing bits & slips. All good fun.

If you don't make it as far as Coro Friday you are welcome to come stay at my place.

    Cheers

Going to try out a pair of the Mitas E-10's on this trip. See how they go.

On that note, anyone want a couple of 140/80x17 E-09 rears? One prob 75% tread left, the other 50%.

    $100 for the pair ono.
Also a 150/70x17 tourance exp that'd have probably 40% tread left.

Yeah local scouts were chucking them in the bin so I rescued one. The other one I have is a mint Farmers Trading Co 8x8. . Bound to be spare room in this tent for the odd camper on the weekend.

I might be there on friday afternoon, if I BYO food can I please use the BBQ facilities for friday night? (save me having to bring a cooker of my own just for friday night).

Would suit me nicely to leave all the gear there and not have to lug it around for the saturday ride.

A weather forecast 6 days out is about as reliable as astrology & reading tea leaves, but:
