ChCh to Hurunui... Normally I would expect to go via Rampaddock Rd, not the beach. Turn left at Amberley, goes thru some nice valleys, some seal, some gravel, couple of straights and pops out near the Hurunui.
    Map attached.
I'd like to go but am unlikely to attend at this time... all down to the fuel supply being diverted to the following weekend's Amuri Area School Fundraiser Trailride.

Cheers for the map - I'll make a copy of that.

(Was looking at a way to avoid so much tar on my knobbs ..... Worth watching them disappear for the Peninsula )

Have a cracker trail ride next weekend ..,..

Yep that's basically the Route. Can turn off after Waikuku and go through Sefton bypass Amberley altogether.

Ok, the WNR Adventure option, I'm in, will be on the Transalp with pillion on board.

Assuming there's only a few of us I'm thinking we should try depart a couple of minutes early and blow past the first roady regroup point at Chaneys corner to get a bigger jump on them, though even doing this they'll still beat us to the Pizza.

Hmmm, might tag along. Don't think I've been some of those roads before
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!
