Might see if J is up for the Rainbow run and fishing bit if I take her on back of the Transalp.
We'd split off in the morning and head home any way we feel like but not the Porika.
Will talk to her tomorrow evening... but I doubt you'll see us.

No I'm still keen mate, want to run in my new piston before the weekend so won't be pushing bike very hard. I'm thinking 0930 at The peg??

Just starting the route planning now...

To the riders in for the mission (both 2 day and 3 day) are you keen to throw Edwards Pass and Mailing Pass in on day 1? (Saturday)

It'll kill two birds from my end, I can GPS log the tracks for the website, plus it'll throw in a bit more fun stuff into the trip

    Thumbs up thanks

A big thanks to Matt for helping me lift the KLR back up (twice) on our little jaunt - those railway judder bar thingies were a bit much for the poor old EO7 to lift 0.3 tonne up and over (with me behind the controls anyway) and that single track off - well lets just say I am glad that wasn't on video - what a muppet!
Good ride today - enjoy your weekend boys

    Momentum... momentum is your friend.
The only other issue may be a belly low enough for the beached whale effect

Think of it as a convenient centre stand.. Pic from a blat along the Ashley last night.

Good to be out in the evening air, only three near injury experiences..!

Jezza's off back to Aussie this week so suggested a Canterbury ride on Saturday, up to Coleridge / Wilberforce area. Rogson left his XF here after the DB & (with his OK) we rode the 2 Freewinds. There's some sweet gravel riding up there & ChCh riders could easily include Lake Lyndon to Porters.
It was a great afternoon incl a posh coffee at Terrace Downs on the way home, where our dress code was somewhat conspicuous.
    So I now have 4 bikes in the garage - Husky 510, 2 x XF's & the DT230.
