I'm probably in for this too now. Was going to do another trailride then but think this will suit me better and keen to go back there.

Excellent Vid Peetey, will have to do the next one. The guys on the big bikes did well to stay upright in the slop.

Thanks Bushy, it's a great fun ride, highly recommended. Those big bikes did so well! I was all over the place on my little one, dunno how they did it on bikes twice the weight and with slicker tyres

That'd actually be a good name for that version.
It included Limestone Road being the main change... after the bridge in to where the fallen trees were.
Not real keen to be in there in a big group (though in 1997 we went big), they appear to be trying to minimise traffic through, no signage at all at the end we entered and private property signs at the end we exited. Be good to have a phone number to ring to check for access regarding stock movements etc.

I ended up cutting the ride a lot shorter so we didn't do all the roads I had originally planned, I want to try and do the whole thing again in summer.

I like the applause as you pull into the Waipara gas station at the end running on fumes! . Great vid!

thinking about lunch at Little River or Duvachelle or Akaroa Saturday (tomorrow). Could just do lazy sealed roads or possibly have my arm twisted to Western Valley or similar. WR is being serviced so using the Transalp this weekend.
Anyone else got nothing to do?
J has had something distract her for the day so I now need to find my own entertainment.
