"Boys in action"
Well I'm feeling fairly tired again, only a 200km day again too. Makes me wonder how on earth do I survive the DB1k weekend??? oh I know, more of this practice stuff and grow the distance as we go.... other endurance/fitness exercise helps of course too, I'll start again tomorrow. Only about 4.5 months to prep. ok I'm not actually that tired.
Quite enjoyed the greasyness of today with the wet ground in the rain and the MT21 front, didn't like eating pies in the rain, so glad it stopped.
Those water crossings were getting deep, but thankfully appeared easy for everyone.
There could be a nasty rumour of the WR on it's side where they might say I had slowed to turn at a gate, front wheel washed in the deep stones, we stopped and I lay it down.
Again, there were no cameras present so it's all just bollix I say.
Fun day thanks guys, looking forward to the next one...again.

Thanks for the company guys, another great ride. Need to sort out those carb hoses so I can keep going through those water holes! Just fitted a new M21 on the Front and E09 on the Back, so ready for some more action!

Yea, had looked a while ago, tis no problem, I'm a DB1k Veteran you know, I know what I'm doing.
Was just remembering a story I heard recently of where someone thought it was a good idea to have a go at the DB1k not realising how much more ride fit you need to be over their usual road riding.
Didn't end well.
All hear/say with out any hard evidence of the facts on hand but needless to say it pays to build up some adventuring stamina leading up to the event to be able to enjoy it fully and that's part of what I'm starting to do for myself already as I don't feel quite up to my normal fitness level for this time of year.
