Don't ya just throw some dirt or special oil soaking stuff on it, wait then sweep it up? I could pop round and supervise.

Being unregistered limits your choices, closest to ChCh would be both sides of the Waimak but even then there are some bits we are fenced out of now.

Sounth bank...Go out on the Old West Coast Road to Weedons Ross Rd then turn North toward the Waimak and park up when the road turn gravel. Ride toward the river some more and eventually there is track access both sides of the road.

Northbank has the MX and TT and Trials areas access is left when going north just over the Old Waimak Bridge.

More tracks a bit further along the North bank may require driving further along the tar to get round gates that are sometimes locked now that theres Trucks working between the MX/TT/Trails area and the other stuff.

Further out and for $30 a day there's the Blackridge Park, Greta Valley as advertised on the myrides.co.nz site under Trail rides.

    Think I'm busy.
Just got back from doing the Western Valley road. Was only nipping over to Trevor Pierce's for some bits I had ordered, was only wearing a Tee under my armour and the unlined Axo jacket. The whole time I was on the Summit Rd I was thinking I should turn back, it's going to get cold, but I hadn't been on the bike for over a week and was trying out the Vibranitors to see if my fingers still get the tingle.... and well I kept going.

Verdict on the Vibranators.... they are good, not the be all and end all but certainly good.

No, I imagined sand to be messy and heavier so no I didn't bother.
Vibrinators have made a nice difference to the view in my mirrors too.
Can still get things to buzz but over all I think they are buzzing less and over less of the rev range.

Yeah, there's still vibes but no sore hands.
Are the WR bars solid mounted?

I used to make mine out of old weetbix packets and lots of gasket cement. Rub some oil on the edges of the thing you need a gasket for then stamp it onto the cereal box of your choice and get cutting. Worked a treat on my old 90cc for years!
