I didn't go myself. Who did and what was it like?
I may consider it next year.

It was a good weekend..Friendly people as always...one of the smaller tracks was a bit boring..but the others were good open tussock land tracks..some fast sections, single tracks, river crossings etc.. and some great views especially on the looong track which seemed to go forever..also well sign posted..weather was great sat..Well worth a look..was a big turn out sat but pretty quiet sunday..I forgot to pack my camera so can't post any pics...if you put in tekapo tamer on youtube someone had a helmet cam last year if you want to check out the terrain..

was pretty good ride, we only rode saturday and it was quite beginner friendly, but i heard the sunday guided ride provided much more challenging terrain

my group lost the trail a couple of times on the bigger loops where there were some missing markers... not ideal when you are meant to be sticking to the track to avoid getting blown up!

we will go again next year if we get the chance
