And I know I will get shit for this, but sometimes gang members grow up to become good men, who make good husbands and fathers. People can change and grow.

I was friends with one such person. He was a good dad & husband, still had the patch in the cupboard. Seemed wierd to me, as that wasn't the person I knew. He dragged it out every now & then for whatever reason. Not sure if they dealt in drugs back then (50s/60s), but I got the impression he'd deck the kids if they did (same age as me).
