Looking for a 2nd bike

Hey guys I am looking for a 2nd bike for my lil sister and my mates to have a play around on river I was thinking something like a 2 stroke 80cc up to 125cc

what are they like reliablility wise and so on
Want to spend under a grand

Looks like a chinese bike? If so, probably best to steer clear. How about something like a dr-z/ttr/klx 125? They are good for noobie girls with the low seat height (assuming your sister is a noob, she might not be!) but can also make good play bikes, my cousin's husband and brother have a couple of KLX/DR-Zs and take them on the mx track and seem to have a lot of fun on them.

as she said, but if you are going to let your mates ride it as well, your sister wont have much of a bike left to ride after they have abused it.

thats a chinese copy of a yamaha rt200, my mate has an rt, its all good, but a chinese one, maybe not.

I learnt from scratch on a 2000 CR 80. 2t mxer isn't everyones choice though of a bike to learn on.

Stay away from Chinese bikes - have had two mates that got them....one sold it as non of us wanted to ride with him but also kept breaking parts....other one is still having issues with it.

But like L rider I started on a '01 CR80 2 stroke...but I had ridden bikes on farm since a kid...so could understand kick starting a bike and clutch etc.

Was great bike to learn on but as she said some don't like 2t bikes. Light though and normally easy to start but you have to "stay on the pipe" so you don't foul the spark plugs.

Steer CLEAR of Chinese bikes you ride it once stuffs gunna break you ride it twice your gunna get to know your cheap Chinese parts dealer quite well.Get a XR 250 or 200 there bullet proof & designed to be rolled bowled & arseholed & parts are plentiful

Thanks for the advice Have taken this on board Sat my sister on a yz85 and took it for a ride myself she felt comfortable cruising around on it and said she knows she could get faster on one.
Xr200 a bit big for her neighbour has one.
So I am on the look out for a KX85 or a YZ85 under $1600

Cool she'll have alot of fun learning on it & once 'instantly' outgrow it as soon as she can ride.
Just make sure you have a large supply of sparkplugs (we just got the cheaper one's not the race plugs) as when learning she'll no doubt foul a few purely cause its a mx bike so not designed to putt around on.

After my CR80 I got a KX85.
