    Hey, so like, gsr600 or Hornet?......and why (other than fit) it just seems hard to pick

    If you've ridden both, looked at all the specs and how they'll relate to your needs and still can't pick, you're overthinking it. Simply choose the one you think looks best, neither are a bad bike.

    What are the differences you found when riding them?

    If there is not much diff, isn't the gsr cheaper by some margin so you could spend some money you were prepared to spend on the hornet on making the gsr nice with some exhausts etc

    Have you compared a few other bikes in that class? I also read that the pillion gets a hot ass from the exhausts getting hot, have you heard of this?

    my pillions already have a hot arse, but if it gives them one where there wasn't one to start with i can only see an upside.

    Certainly smash both the Hornet and GSR in terms of build quality. As for the ride, I'll let ya know when the demo arrives on Tuesday

    The fz6r you mean? Is the fz6, xj6 and fz6r from the one r6 motor or have they changed the engine it's based on?

    fz6=nekkid
    fz6s=half faired
    fz6r=full fairing

    (and yeah i think WT must be getting the 'r' demo)

    and i think the xj6 replaced the fz6. all r6 motors in a different state of tune as far as i can recall

    i will be keen to here you opinion, gsr seems a bit more snatchie at low revs but maybe a bit more keen up top. I suppose its a matter of just being happy with whatever choose and just learning to ride it well. My good (non biker) friend says suzuki sounds like a more fun name but know I need to check if Yamaha tops it for phonics

    I was recently faced with a very very similar question.

    I bought a street triple and am glad of it every day.
