Speedmaster bafflectomy

Finally got round to doing a bafflectomy on the Speedmaster over the weekend. A pain in proverbial job but well worth it! The bike has gone from a sewing machine sound to sounding like a Triumph. I'm a happy man Maybe it's my imagination but the throttle feels a bit more responsive too. Anyway, if you've got a Speedmaster or America with the original pipes, it's well worth it to rip the back baffles out.

it can make the bike run a bit lean but throttle response is slightly improved i did it to my boulevard.
Or you could pop on some slip on exhausts for even more fun..... go have a yak to the triumph shop or go aftermarket, harris pipes are a nice addition

I have a mate with Harris pipes on an America and he's pretty happy with them. I was having a look at Thunderpipes but they seem to be just that bit more expensive than everybody else.

Had Harris pipes on my '07 America, looked & sounded great.

The better thing to do is re-route the muffler for better flow, and modify the baffle to do it's job but keep things in check. With slight modification, and often no welding needed, you can open it up to get a rumble but keep it from running lean or too rich.
