needs a foot for soft ground then its a 10/10

Without a spool or positive detent I wouldn't trust it under the swing arm on any of my bikes.

Plenty of the racebike stands work without needing a spool or positive detent.

(But then racers may be..."different"...)

Most track stands hold both sides of the swingarm.

Good thinking. Might even add a hinge, and be just like the fancy one.
