What bike for Mom?

Trademe question?
This bike started out asking $10K...once a Wellington friend gave us a very detailed appraisal, the words..'or near offer' were added. Two offers have now been made. The second offer was a very reasonable 'or near offer' offer.
She said no, and now the price has changed yet again to $11500 or near offer.
Question is....is this within the trademe rules?...its not an auction, just a listing.

Those things went out the door just under $14k new after the "disaster".

So take 20% off for just rolling it out the door, 10% for each year and 5% per 10,000kms traveled and then you've still got an inflated price compared to most 2nd hand markets around the world.

I can't remember the prices but their are a couple of them for sale at Anza's and one of them is new and the is "as new". Oh... One's blue and the other red.

I am too little in height for the standard Buell, I need the "low" model.

I should have put more emphasis on the WAS, but hey lets see what happens. $10k is over the odds, but I was prepared to pay it to get my dream bike, while I may be a little bit Buell struck in this instance, I am not a fool.

Bit gutted, but tomorrow is another day, and I am off to Paeroa for the BOTS, cant be all bad.

It did cross my mind that this thread was being read by some one associated with her and she heard I REALLY was keen. I was REALLY keen, still am, but wont pay much more than what it is worth, on the strength the seller is telling me she has someone prepared to pay more than my last offer.

She knows where I stand now, I really hope she comes back to me as I REALLY want to buy that bike, but if not then hey, I will go back to my original thought and buy a Bonnie

Don't give up on getting a Buell if that's what you want, lowering them can't be that big of an issue, that said nothing wrong with a late model Bonnie either.

I have a Buell watch dog at home and many more of them scattered around the place. I am sure the next time one of these little cuties come up for sale I will be told about it.

I might have to change my screen saver at work though
