My current bike is only about 20 kgs lighter than Maha's CB1300 so I am used to cranking a bit of weight off the side stand. Newer bikers are much better weighted than mine is so I am not picking weight will be an issue. I got on a Nightrod at AMPS a couple of years ago, it just popped off the stand into my hands I was amazed.Originally Posted by boman

GS 1200...a very sexy bike, can be easily lowered if necessary. The one I sat on, I had my feet flat on the ground and my knees were bent!

No. Its either a GS or GSX 1200. Not a bandit. It is a retro styled naked and comes in the most stunning candy apple red. Quite rare.

Pretty sure that's the one. YT sat on one locally awhile ago. We both remember it as being very small (esp for a 1200). In fact, it didn't seem any bigger that the Radian, but it was way better balanced, so weight wasn't an issue.

I'm not selling mine but you would be most welcome to have a blat on my bandit if you'd like just for a feel (oooo, and I don't say that to everyone). The seat height is 770mm and the only thing I could say against it is that it's heavy. However, at 5'1" I find it a really comfortable bike to ride so the offer is there for you to try it.
