It needs more gold bling bits added to it, it would definitely be worth it if it had gold coloured bar ends.

    Seriously tho, nice bike.
    Keep on chooglin'

what amazes me is the photos trying to sell a $30k piece of equipment on TM are basically shit. look like they're taken with a 5 year old Nokia cell phone.

well, if it sells or not at 31k will determine if it's overpriced.
overrated as in the hype that surrounded the bike when it first came out. A very good bike (yes Ive done alot of kms on one) and I do like alot of things about the bike, but I think it's fallen short of the expectations.
But you do make good points, especially the NZ case.
As far as Spies is concerned, well lets be honest a wsbk spec machine is a far cry from what we see in showrooms and on our roads, plus spies was the only one that did any good. It's not like the top 5 wsbk spots were filled with r1's.
And as far as the Rossi edition is concerned, I wonder how long it'll be before we start seeing Rossi 1198's come out?
I call it like I see it. Don't take it personally.

Fuckin BINGO. Personaly, if I owned an 09-11 R1 I'd happily pay 4K for the Graves as it's the sexiest system available and gets rid of the horrible underseat exhausts. Rear shock stays cooler and you save a shedload of weight plus gain the most unique exhaust note you're likely to hear.

Susan's 25, thanks very much. And seeing as she's hot as all hell, I'll let her keep her job this week. But point taken, I'll have to address that.

Interestingly though, a customer was in the shop a week ago and mentioned that he was really impressed with the quality of pics on that very bike. That being said he may have simply wanted to interfere with her and I can hardly blame him.

About 6 months I reckon. Probably being sprayed in the booth as we speak. Ducati are no morons, they need to capitilize on the immense salary he's being paid.

I'm not a fan of the current R1 at all. But that one is a collectors bike methinks.

I know a few people who have spent that much money on exhausts for road bikes, so I hardly see why there's so much debate about the worth of this one.

Even taking transport costs and being full titanium into account that exhaust has quite a mark up on it.

Having said that, if I had the dollars I'd buy it. With that low mounted exhaust it's farken stunning.

If money isn't an object and it's what you love, why not? I couldn't afford it but if I was rich I would chuck stuff like that on.
