Looks a little knocked about to me mate, but I'm happy to have a better look at it for you if you'd like.

As a complete newb (got BHS done, planning to sit the test this week), I dont think I can perform a thorough test ride, so I will need to focus on the condition of the bike. My list so far is:
    1) check chain, rear sprocket
    2) check turn signals, lights, etc
    3) check tires
    4) visual inspection of the brake pads
    5) Is the battery flat?
    6) Start it up, check for anything out of sorts?
    7) ask for maintenance history

    Anything I am missing?
I haven't had a problem buying unseen bikes as yet but I do ask consider the age of the bike and what the possible issues would be.....

add too your list bearings (wheel & steering) suspension look out for weeping fork seals and how much play is in the rear and see where the rear shock is set at in terms of softness/hardness,if your not too sure about cheaking things out take someone with you often they will notice something you have missed

Being almost new and flawless it was easy to expect perfection and delivered as such.

Dicks, they came and dropped my bike off a couple weeks later than originally intended all because they didn't realise I lived so far away from the motorway even though the first thing I did was give them my address and say can you deliver it here!

But got here in the end... flawless
