I'm a sporty cruiser type. I generally like to take things moderatley slow compared to the 'real' sports bikers out there. I would rather take the view in and enjoy the overall thrill of riding while minimising the risks associated with enjoying my hobby. Although on the rare occassion I do push it a bit harder.

Since becoming a father I've a totally different outlook on life...

    3. I don't like to be in front, by hate being left behind (especially if I don't know where we are going). Anyone who has ridden with me will know I have 2 main modes:
Mode 1: Going hell for leather at a pace that the upper end of my comfit zone trying to stick with the leading bikes (the vacuum effect).
Mode 2: Knowing that I'm way out classed, not wanting to take the same risks, and/or have lost my mojo, travelling at a brisk crusing pace and waving on those riders that are up my arse to pass.
I will change between these modes on faster rides depending on what my "gut feeling vibes" are. So far the "vibes" have served me well, but there are times that I could do with shutting that "vacuum effect" off and not allow myself to get "sucked along" at a pace nearing the upper eneds of my abilities.

I enjoy my ride better when I dont have to make repairs to the bike or to me ... more concerned with getting a ticket myself

if riding in good conditions i will always push as hard as possible to beat the person ahead of me but, i try to keep in mind the point where i start to a bit ragged. thats when i back off, no point in crashing to beat a mate.

this is something that i have learnt the hard way after a couple of good lessons.
yeah... sorry bro, i thought that ment miles 'n hour.

Gah! I always seem to vote based on the title and then go on to read the explained choices.
