I think you might mean ....

Puhoi tavern - North of Auckland towards Whangerei
Kopu/Thames - South east of Auckland towards the Coromandel Peninsular
Kaiaua - South east of Auckland on the way to Thames

All good roads to ride in those areas, the Coromandel is one of the most popular rides in this part of the world.

1: It's the Puhoi Pub, a place for people to congregate and admire their motorcycles without actually doing much riding. We call it posing here in N.Z.

2: Kopu - Hikuai road, about 45 minutes south east of Auckland. This is the gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula, a great bit of twisty road.

3: Kaiaua - on the eastern coast of Auckland, on the way to Kopu - Hikuai. A ride from Auckland to Kaiaua and back is a couple of hours round trip.

With the exception of the Puhoi pub, watch out for slips (land -slides) that will have patches of damp clay over the road (it rained out east most of last night).
